Model team spring photoshoot- 2021

The model team spring photoshoot- 2021 was full of pink cherry blossoms, blooming tulips, beach frolicking, and buggy adventures!

We started out by meeting at the budding trees while we waited for everyone to arrive. The sun glow was absolute perfection. As a photographer I always look for golden flares of light because it makes photos so dreamy!

After the whole group got there, we did some walking shots and *tried* not to trip on clumps of mud that was covering the ground from a rainy week! Embarrassingly enough, I was the one who tripped…but cut me some slack because I was basically running backwards while photographing these girlies! It created laughing moments which looked so cute for pictures.

After that, we all jumped in our cars and the group followed me to a secret little tulip spot that I found right near the beach. The tulips were multi-colored and perfectlyyy poppin’. It couldn’t have been a more adorable spring backdrop.

As we began our venture down to the beach, we passed Kait’s adorable light-blue buggy and we just HAD to take group photos in it. Kait put the top down and we parked it right in front of the tulips for some full group shots. It gave road-trip vibes and we low-key wanted to drive that thing straight to Cali for some summer sun and surf.

We ended our 2021 model team spring photoshoot on the beach, skipping around and literally cracking up til tears ran down our faces. The last team photoshoot of the year is always bittersweet and it’s hard to say goodbye at the end. These girls came in as wide-eyed juniors (babies!!) and now they’re all off to college! There were so many close friendships made during the 2021 senior model team year, and those bonds are lifelong. But I feel an alumni shoot coming in the near future, so hopefully we’ll have more adventures to come!
